There are up-to 200 families that work in and depend on Car City for their sole income. In addition to these families, there are a vast number of businesses and individuals who contract to the Car City dealer group – equating to 600 – 800 people.
It is estimated that since Car City started operation in 1985, the Ringwood site has generated a turnover of more than $ 2 billion dollars through the Eastern Regions local economy.
